Dear Folks,
Did you know that veganism dates back to 3300 BCE? A plant based diet was a mode of living in India at that time. By 500 BCE (Before Christ), it spread to Greece. The Greek philosopher Pythagoras and his followers were Vegans. He is considered the Father of Ethical Veganism. Their reasons were for ethical and health reasons. Do you remember the Pythagorean Theorem? In a right triangle, the square of the longest side equals the sum of the squares of the other two sides. This was his most remembered mathematical finding that all school children must learn. I am Vegan, but I am not a square!
