Glendora was deep asleep at 1:30am on July 14, 2026. The telephone rang. It was too far away for Glendora to answer it on time, but the caller left a message. So Glendora went back to sleep. But at 2am there was a woman at her bedside, awakening her. She said, “Glendora, this is Cathy from Nassau Ambulance. You rolled over and set your medical alert to ring. Medical alert called you, but you didn’t answer, so they called Nassau Ambulance.” Glendora said, “How did you get into my locked apartment?” Cathy said, “I remembered where the key was from the last time we were here.”
