“A new study published in The Lancet Oncology has evaluated breast cancer risks arising from lifestyle factors and found, unsurprisingly, that smoking cigarettes is a big factor, the second-most powerful.

The top factor was the consumption of red meat. The Guardian noted that the study is the largest of its kind, tracking data from more than 200 countries over a 33-year period. As of 2023, ‘high red meat consumption’ was ‘linked to nearly 11% of all healthy life lost,’ while cigarette smoke, including secondhand, accounted for just 8%.”

Every morning, a boy and his dog would go to school together. Every afternoon, they would walk back home together. This would go on for years. Everyone in the neighborhood thought that this was endearing.

Then one day it stopped suddenly. The dog graduated.


In the cafeteria, the first dish was a BIG bowl of apples. The sign said, “Take only one; God is watching.” The last dish in the cafeteria was a BIG bowl of chocolate chip cookies. The sign said, “Take as many as you want; God is watching the apples!”


A dog was asked, “Are you bilingual?” The dog answered, “Woof, Meow.”


The younger brother asked his older sister, “What is a virgin?” She replied, “A virgin is a woman who eats all of her vegetables.”


When my friend Lisa came home from California, her dog Charlie put her sneakers under the bed. She got the message.
