After the first step, admitting that you did something wrong, the next step is to say, “I wish I hadn’t done that.” You regret it.
Now the third step is your conscience begins to tell you that you want to make up for it. You want to atone for it. Now do you see how much better we feel? How do you make up for it? You simply go out and do something nice for somebody. Instantly the load lifts. Now we feel so much better.
