What i really wish I could see is a video of the Channel 6 WRGB shows that you starred in.
Satellite 6!

Video tape did not come out until 1962. The broadcast TV station, not cable, presenting the Glendora & Satellite 6 received its first video tape machine in 1962. It was an Ampex, and it was larger than a washing machine. The video tape was two inches wide. An hour’s spool was fourteen inches in diameter. The first time the crew made a video tape was of Glendora’s show 45 minutes, and they made so many mistakes and retakes they did not finish until five minutes before the show would be going live.

When Glendora left the General Electric Taj Mahal building and was walking down the street to her home, and head on was a group of children playing on their tricycles on the sidewalk. The mother opened the front door and said, “Billy, Glendora’s on TV.” Billy said , “I don’t wanna watch that stupid show.” Then he looked up, and Glendora was walking down the street. That was one shocked child.
